The body of 42-year-old Troy LaFerrara was found in “the hill” neighborhood in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. The coroner confirmed a murder by stabbing – more than 20 times. After three weeks of investigation, Miranda and Elytte Barbour were arrested for the crime. The reasoning? They “just wanted to kill someone together.”
In a February 2014 jailhouse interview with The Daily Item reporter Francis Scarcella, Miranda Barbour confessed to the crime. She also told the reporter about her history including being sexually molested at four-years-old and becoming connected to the satanic church at only 13. With such a complicated social history, what leads a murderer to “just want to kill?”
